The DR650SE ignition guards are made from die formed 5052 H32 aluminum. They are 0.080” thick and will protect your fragile magnesium cases from damage due to a fall or a simple tip over. The clutch and ignition guards are brush finish aluminum (not polished) and they have no logo at all. The finish is crude but no coating would last long with muddy boots rubbing it.

The Oil Filter Guards are 6061-T6 Billet Machined Aluminum and are over 1/4" thick and won't let side impacts get to the heart of your lubrication system and leave you stranded. A good skid plate that protects the area from frontal impacts is a must.
